How & Why
How It Works
Asper London combines elegant jewellery with an intelligent health record, allowing important medical information to be securely stored and accessed when it matters most.
Asper London is a new generation of medical ID jewellery, designed to connect beautiful jewellery with a secure digital health profile. Each piece links to a personal medical record that can be accessed through scannable technology, giving you control over what information can be shared and when.
Designed to be discreet, intelligent, and reliable, Asper jewellery ensures trusted medical information can be available quickly in everyday life or in an emergency.
The Asper system works through three connected elements:
- Scannable medical jewellery
- A secure web app
- Your personal digital medical profile
Together, they create a simple and secure way to carry important health information wherever you go.
Scannable Medical Jewellery
Every Asper London piece contains scannable technology that links directly to your personal medical profile.
When the jewellery is scanned using a smartphone, it opens a secure page displaying the medical information you have chosen to make accessible.
This allows first responders, clinicians, carers, or trusted individuals to quickly understand important aspects of your health.
Information that may be visible includes:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Medications
- Emergency contacts
By making this information accessible, Asper jewellery can help healthcare professionals understand your medical needs quickly.
The jewellery itself remains elegant and discreet, designed to look like fine jewellery rather than traditional medical ID products.
Your Secure Asper Web App (add native app later)
Your Asper profile is managed through a secure web-based app, where you can build and maintain your personal digital health record.
Within the app, you can:
- Create your Medical ID profile
- Add emergency contacts
- Record medical conditions and medications
- Organise healthcare providers and clinics
- Upload medical documents and reports
Your health record can be updated whenever you need, ensuring your information remains accurate as your medical history evolves.
Your Digital Medical Profile
Your Asper profile acts as a structured digital medical record, allowing important health information to be stored in one secure place.
You can upload and organise documents such as:
- Doctor’s letters
- Test results
- Imagery (Sam - is this a right medical way to describe scans?)
- Hospital discharge summaries
- Care plan
- Medical reports
These records are arranged into a clear chronological timeline, making it easier for healthcare professionals to review your medical history when necessary.
Documents can be uploaded directly through the app or forwarded to your secure Asper documents email address, where they are automatically added to your record.
Activating your jewellery takes only a few minutes. Building your medical profile may take longer depending on how much information you choose to include. You can add details gradually over time, and your progress will always be saved.
The more information you include, the more helpful your profile can be if your jewellery is ever scanned.
Privacy and Access Control
Your medical information always remains under your control.
Asper uses a simple traffic light privacy system to allow you to decide how each document or piece of information can be accessed.
🟢 Green — Public Access
Essential medical information visible when your jewellery is scanned. This allows important health details to be understood quickly in an emergency.
🟠 Amber — Limited Access
Additional medical information available to trusted individuals such as clinicians, carers, or family members using a secure access code generated through the app.
🔴 Red — Private
Sensitive records visible only within your personal profile.
You can change these settings at any time, ensuring your information remains fully under your control.
Secure Document Sharing
In addition to privacy settings, Asper also allows you to share specific medical documents directly from the app.
This can be useful when providing medical information to a doctor, specialist, or healthcare provider.
Documents can be shared via:
- Secure link
- AirDrop
Access can also be time-limited, allowing information to be viewed only for a defined period.
You can remove shared access whenever you choose.
Designed for Everyday Life
Asper medical ID jewellery is designed for people living with:
- Chronic health conditions
- Allergies
- Complex medical histories
- Ongoing treatments
It can also provide reassurance for anyone who wants to ensure their medical information can be accessed quickly if needed.
By combining elegant design with intelligent technology, Asper creates a modern approach to medical ID jewellery and digital health records, allowing important medical information to remain secure, accessible, and always under your control.

Asper London
Smart Jewellery for Smarter Care.
Your Asper profile allows you to build a secure, organised record of your medical history, helping ensure important health information can be accessed when needed.
Once your jewellery is activated, you can begin adding your medical information through the Asper web app. The process is designed to be flexible and straightforward, allowing you to upload documents yourself, forward them to your secure Asper email address, or have them sent directly from your healthcare provider.
You do not need to complete everything at once. Your profile saves your progress, allowing you to add records gradually over time.
The more information you include, the more helpful your profile will be if your jewellery is ever scanned.
Upload Documents Directly
You can upload medical documents directly through your Asper profile using your desktop or mobile device.
Many people begin by adding recent correspondence or important records such as:
- Doctor’s letters
- Test results
- Hospital discharge summaries
- Care plans
- Prescription or treatment information
Once uploaded, your documents will appear within your Asper profile and be organised into a clear medical timeline, helping healthcare professionals quickly understand your medical history when needed.
You can also assign privacy settings to each document using Asper’s traffic light access system, allowing you to decide what information can be accessed and by whom.
Send Documents Through Your Secure Asper Email
Every Asper account includes a unique secure email address - found in the documents section of your app.
You can forward medical correspondence, scanned letters, or photographs of documents to this address, and they will automatically appear in your Asper profile.
This makes it easy to add records from:
- hospital correspondence
- specialist consultations
- laboratory reports
- medical documentation
Forwarding documents through your secure email ensures your records are safely added to your personal medical timeline.
Add Documents Directly From Your Doctor
You may also choose to provide your secure Asper email address to your doctor, clinic, or healthcare provider.
This allows medical professionals to send documents directly to your Asper record, ensuring important information is added safely and efficiently.
This can be particularly helpful for ongoing treatment, specialist consultations, or follow-up reports.
Organising Your Medical Record
As documents are added to your profile, they are organised within your medical directory and timeline, creating a clear overview of your medical history.
This structure allows clinicians, carers, or trusted individuals to quickly review relevant information if necessary.
Your medical record can continue to grow and evolve as new information is added over time.
Medical Profile Verification
For additional safety and reliability, Asper offers a medical profile verification process.
Once your medical profile is complete, an Asper Medical Doctor will review the information within your account to ensure key medical details have been recorded clearly and accurately.
This verification helps provide an additional layer of confidence that the information within your record is organised, understandable, and medically reliable.
The verification process has been designed to support both patient safety and medical clarity.
What Medical Information Should You Add First?
If you are just getting started, it can help to begin with the most important details.
We recommend adding:
- Your Medical ID information — medical conditions, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts
- Recent doctor’s letters
- Test results or hospital discharge summaries
- Care plans or treatment guidance
These records provide a clear overview of your health history and offer useful context for healthcare professionals.
You can continue adding documents over time as new information becomes available.
Your Medical Record, Ready at a Scan
Once your records have been uploaded and your profile is complete, your medical information becomes instantly accessible through your Asper jewellery.
With a simple scan from a smartphone, trusted medical information can be viewed by those who need it — helping clinicians, carers, or first responders quickly understand your health needs.
Your information remains secure, organised, and always under your control.
Your medical record, one scan away.
Your health information is deeply personal. At Asper London, privacy and security are fundamental to the way the platform is designed.
Your Asper profile ensures that you remain in control of your medical information at all times. You decide what information can be seen, who can access it, and when that access can be removed.
To make this simple and transparent, Asper provides two ways to share medical information:
- The Traffic Light Privacy System
- Secure Document Sharing
Together, these systems allow you to manage your medical records safely, flexibly, and always under your control.
The Traffic Light Privacy System
Each document and piece of information within your Asper profile can be assigned a privacy level using our simple traffic light system.
This allows you to clearly define what information is visible and to whom.
🟢 Green — Public
Information marked Green can be viewed when your jewellery is scanned.
This level is typically used for critical medical information that may be needed quickly in an emergency.
Examples include:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Medications
- Emergency contacts
This information can be accessed without authentication, allowing first responders to quickly understand key aspects of your health.
You can change or remove this access at any time within your profile.
🟠 Amber — Limited Access
Amber access is designed for trusted individuals who may need more medical information, but not full access to your private records.
This might include:
- Doctors or clinicians
- Carers
- Family members
- Trusted healthcare providers
Documents set to Amber require a secure access code before they can be viewed.
This code is generated directly within the patient’s Asper app and is known as the HCPC Access Code.
The patient can choose when to generate and share this code, allowing trusted individuals to access the information they need.
This ensures that additional medical information is only available to people you have authorised.
Access can be granted, refreshed, or removed at any time by the patient.
🔴 Red — Private
Information marked Red remains private to the profile owner.
These records are securely stored in your Asper account but are never visible when your jewellery is scanned.
This level is often used for:
- Sensitive medical documents
- Personal records
- Identity information
- Private notes
You can move documents between privacy levels whenever you choose.
Secure Document Sharing
In addition to the traffic light system, Asper also allows you to share individual documents directly from the app.
This is useful when you need to provide specific information to a doctor, hospital, or specialist.
Simply select a document and choose how you would like to share it.
Documents can be shared using:
- Secure link
- AirDrop
When sharing a document, you can also set time-limited access, allowing the recipient to view the document only for a defined period.
Once the time expires, access automatically closes.
You can also revoke shared access at any time.
Your Information, Always Under Your Control
Whether using the traffic light privacy settings or document sharing, Asper ensures that you remain in control of your health information at all times.
You decide:
- What information is visible
- Who can access it
- How long access lasts
This approach allows your medical records to be useful when needed, while remaining private and secure by default.
Privacy and Security by Design
At Asper London, privacy is not an add-on - it is built into the foundation of the platform.
Our goal is simple:
To allow you to carry important medical information with confidence, control, and peace of mind.
Asper London
Your Health, Beautifully Connected.
Why You Need It
Health information is often scattered.
A doctor may hold one record, a hospital another. Test results may sit in emails, letters, or files that are difficult to access when they are needed most.
For people living with medical conditions, allergies, or complex health histories, this can create uncertainty. Important information is not always immediately available to the people who may need it.
Asper London was created to solve this problem.
The idea is simple: to bring important health information together in one secure place and make it accessible when it matters.
By combining beautifully designed medical ID jewellery with a secure digital health record, Asper allows people to carry their medical information with them in a discreet and intelligent way.
When an Asper piece is scanned with a smartphone, the wearer’s chosen medical details can be accessed instantly. This allows clinicians, carers, or first responders to quickly understand essential aspects of a person’s health.
But Asper was never intended to feel clinical or technical. The goal was to create something people would feel comfortable wearing every day.
Jewellery that looks beautiful.
Technology that works quietly in the background.
A piece designed not only to hold meaning, but to hold information that may one day matter.
Medical ID jewellery has long been used to communicate important health information in emergencies.
Traditionally, this meant engraving a small amount of text onto a bracelet or pendant. While useful, these engravings were limited in the amount of information they could provide.
Today, modern medical ID jewellery can do far more.
Digital medical ID systems allow people to carry detailed medical records securely, making it easier for healthcare professionals to understand medical history, allergies, medications, and ongoing treatments.
This information can be especially valuable when someone is unable to communicate their medical needs.
For individuals living with conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, severe allergies, heart conditions, or complex treatment plans, medical ID jewellery can provide reassurance that essential information is always close at hand.
Modern medical ID jewellery also removes the need for visible or clinical-looking identification. Instead, the information is stored securely online and accessed through scannable technology.
The result is a discreet way to carry health information that can help provide clarity and support when it is needed.
Many medical ID products focus primarily on emergency alerts.
Asper London takes a broader approach.
Rather than simply storing a few engraved words, Asper connects scannable medical ID jewellery with a structured digital medical record.
This allows wearers to store not only basic health information but also medical documents, test results, doctor’s letters, and treatment plans.
The result is a living medical profile that can grow over time.
Asper also places strong emphasis on privacy and control. The platform uses a traffic-light privacy system that allows users to decide what information is visible, what requires authorised access, and what remains completely private.
In addition, individual documents can be securely shared with healthcare providers when needed.
Another important difference is design.
Asper jewellery is created to look like elegant, everyday jewellery, rather than medical equipment. Pieces are designed to be versatile, with clipable pendants and amulets that can be attached to necklaces, bracelets, bags, or personal items.
The result is a system that combines design, technology, and medical practicality, allowing people to carry important health information without compromising personal style.
Asper London was created for people who want their medical information to be accessible, secure, and carried with them in everyday life.
For many people, managing a medical condition or allergy is simply part of life. Work, travel, family, exercise - everything continues as normal. But having the right information available, if it is ever needed, can make an important difference.
Asper combines elegant medical ID jewellery with an intelligent digital health record, allowing important health information to be stored securely and accessed with a simple scan.
Some people wear Asper for reassurance.
Others for independence.
Many simply appreciate knowing their information is there if it is ever needed.
Living with a Medical Condition
For individuals managing conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, asthma, or thyroid disorders, having medical information readily available can provide reassurance.
Rather than relying on engraved jewellery with limited space and limited information, Asper allows a full medical profile to be stored securely and accessed through scannable technology.
Severe Allergies
For people living with anaphylaxis or severe allergies, clear medical information can be essential.
Asper jewellery allows allergy details to be visible when scanned, helping first responders or bystanders understand the situation quickly.
Parents Supporting Children with Medical Needs
Parents often look for ways to ensure important health information is available when they are not present.
An Asper bracelet worn to school, sports clubs, or sleepovers can provide reassurance that key medical details can be accessed if needed.
Living Independently
For people who live alone or manage their health independently, Asper can act as a quiet safety net.
Important medical information remains organised, accessible, and always under the wearer’s control.
There are many moments in life when having access to accurate medical information can make a difference.
In an emergency, first responders often need to make quick decisions. Access to information about medical conditions, allergies, medications, or existing treatments can help guide safe and appropriate care.
Emergency professionals are trained to look for medical identification - whether it’s a Medical ID Card, an ID tag or jewellery, or even a medical tattoo. Asper jewellery works in the same way, allowing essential medical information to be accessed quickly with a simple scan from a smartphone.
But emergencies are only one situation where access to clear medical information can help.
During hospital visits or specialist appointments, doctors do not always have immediate access to records from other hospitals or clinics. Important test results, letters, or treatment notes may be held by different providers.
With Asper, your medical information travels with you. If a doctor needs to review a report or medical letter, you can simply share the document directly from your profile. This can save time, reduce repeated tests, and make appointments more efficient.
For people living with long-term conditions, medical records often accumulate over many years. Letters from consultants, test results, prescriptions, and care plans can quickly become difficult to organise.
Asper brings these records together into one clear timeline, helping you stay on top of your medical history and making it easier to share relevant information when needed.
It can also be particularly helpful when travelling. If you become unwell while abroad or need medical care away from home, having your medical information available can make it much easier to explain your health history to unfamiliar doctors or clinics.
Instead of trying to recall details from memory, your records are already there - accessible and easy to share.
For example, imagine arriving at a hospital while travelling and being asked about medications, allergies, or recent treatment. Rather than trying to remember everything, you simply open your Asper profile or allow the doctor to scan your jewellery. Within moments, your medical information is there for them to review.
Asper can also support families and carers who help manage medical care. When trusted individuals need access to information, it can be shared securely and only when you choose.
Most of the time, Asper simply exists quietly in the background - jewellery worn like any other piece.
But when information is needed, it is already there.
Your medical record, one scan away.
